On 9th April, 2012, Mr. Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn, president of Buryatia Republic in Russia led a high governmental delegation to visit NFC and had fruitful discussion on cooperation in developing nonferrous metal resources in Buryatia with Mr. Wang Hongqian, president of NFC.

Mr. Wang said, the close and harmonious Sino-Russian governmental and commercial relationship has created a positive environment with great cooperation potential between Buryatia and NFC. President Nagovitsyn introduced that as one of the 21 republics in Russia, Buryatia is rich in nonferrous metal resources and is oriented in developing its resources. He highly appraised NFC's concept of promoting sustainable economic development where the project locates, and expressed his fully support for NFC's development in Buryatia.
